If you misplace a USB flash drive, anyone who finds it will be able to access its contents. EasyLock can help you prepare for such situations, by encrypting anything you store on your USB drive. It hides all encrypted files automatically and it allows you to manage them on a password protected user interface. The application uses a high grade encryption algorithm, so you can make sure that your data will stay safe at all times.

EasyLock must be installed on a USB flash drive. Before running the setup file, you must store it on your device. The installation process is straightforward and the best part is that the setup wizard won't create any additional files on your device. The application is available for Windows, Mac and Linux and it doesn't use too much storage space.

EasyLock looks and feels just like a lightweight file manager, with a dual-panel interface, similar to Total Commander or other similar applications. You can explore your local folders on the left panel and the USB drive's contents on the right panel. Files and folders can be copied from one side to another, through the clipboard or by clicking and dragging.

Once you copy your files to the USB drive, the application will encrypt them automatically. Of course, the process can be performed in reverse as well. The files you copy from the USB drive to your local folders will be decrypted automatically.

Besides encrypting files, the application will also hide them. Although you can reveal the hidden files, if you make this setting in Windows Explorer, the contents and the way they are organized won't make any sense.

Pros

You can encrypt files on a USB drive, just by copying them to your device, on a user friendly interface. The application can be installed directly on a USB drive and launched on any computer.

Cons

The application is free to try for 30 days. With EasyLock's powerful encryption capabilities, you can protect any data you store on your USB drives, without any effort.
